Shopping for tenant insurance, after reading some latest negative reviews about lack of accountability, communication and customer service I have decided to STAY AWAY and I don't care how competitive the pricing is. Imagine you really needed to file a claim when they nickle and dime with a few months of premium payments.

Apollo insurance is awful. Incredibly poor customer service and very unprofessional. They go days without answering emails and do not get back to you in a timely matter. I think I emailed 4 different people and got one answer in 4 days. I’ve had a policy with Apollo for over a year now for tenant insurance, and once I had updated a new credit card to my file for auto payments they weren’t coming out and had missed payments that I was NOT notified about. Now, I am forced to pay out the remainder of my policy! This makes absolutely no sense and almost feels like a trap to get you to pay your policy in full. If a payment is missed once I should be notified immediately! I searched everywhere in my terms and agreements about what happens with you miss a payment and I couldn’t find a single thing! Absolute robbery do not recommend this company to anyone.

I called and spoke with Tara Tolmie. we did everything over the phone and it did not take time at all. she was polite and professional. She explained the policy to me, and she also suggested the best one for me. I am very satisfied with the service provided with Apollo Insurance.
