Hello, this isn't my email I used to set up the insurance, but I'm very happy with it, I was with allstate, and was paying almost $50 a month, and only getting insured for $10,000, but now, I payed for a full year, and only paid just under $410 (just a bit over $30 a month), and I'm insured for $2,000,000, I'm very happy with that savings, even though I was told it would be $24 a month, I'm still saving a good amount of money

I've never needed or had tenent insurance before. Now I find out you can't rent without it. I found Apollo online threw an acquaintance. It went smooth fast and I got basically what I wanted. I had to take more than I wanted and needed but I found out that most places won't even write a policy under $30,000 to $40,000 so I couldn't combine it with my car insurance. So far so good.

Very disappointed with APOLLO Insurance. I moved out of my apartment two months ago because it was unlivable, but they kept charging me even after I asked several times to cancel my policy. When they finally canceled it, they still charged me $99.57! Poor communication and very slow response — I wouldn’t recommend them.

First off I want to say that getting insurance through Apollo was very simple, they are very diligent on removing the funds from my account and even before the policy is up they prepare you to start another year with them, which was painless and easy. However….. when it comes to collecting from them when a claim has to be made. Well thats a hell of a different story. You can get two types of insurance, actual cash value and replacement cash value, as one would assume, replacement cash value comes with a higher premium. Upon seeing other people struggle with claiming on insurance with only having an actual cash value premium we decided that paying the extra premium would be a benefit to us in case something actually happened. A forest fire came through the property we live at on July 6 of this year, now comes the fun times, maybe I should say now comes the time when you find out what Apollo is really all about…. Actual cash value and replacement cash value, don’t waste your money on the ladder. Apollo appraises your items, doesn’t matter if you bought the item yesterday or 10 years ago, automatically the item is valued at 50%. Doesn’t matter what you say about it, unless you have a receipt you’re only getting 50% of value out of that item. These aren’t items I'm making up either, I'm taking physical items that can be clearly seen and identified. So no matter what the value of your items let say equals $40 thousand. You’re only going to get $20 thousand. Thats it, thats all! Even if you pay the higher premium for replacement cash value, you’re only getting that $20 thousand. Sure you can get the other $20 thousand but here’s the catch, you have to spend submitt $40 thousand dollars in receipts in order to get the replacement value of the items you’ve lost during a tragedy. The whole reason I have insurance in the first place is because I can’t afford to replace the items that have taken me years to collect as it is. Not only do you have to magically come up with this extra cost of $20 thousand in order to receive the benefits of the premium you’ve been paying Apollo for but you only get 180 days from the date that the event happened to submit those receipts otherwise you get not a penny more if you don’t. So don’t waste yiur money on the replacement cash value because it’s not worth the premiums. The lack of communication and transparency with Apollo has also been something horrible to deal with. Getting answers and clarification about things is not their strong suit. One more thing I want to mention….. watch out for the restoration company they send in to do the clean up…. That comes out of your funds. So if your insured to get that $40 thousand and the restoration company costs 20$ thousand …. Well now you don’t get a penny more. Cause they get paid first. Well thats my rant about Apollo insurance, dont waste your money on replacement cash value insurance Cause you’re only going to receive half value anyways. I wish I coulda said better things about them…. But this is my experience and I’m sharing with you to prevent you from running into the same issues I have been going through.
