DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE OTHER REVIEWS - Have a look at what I have reviewed in the past to verify account. I have a very standard tenant insurance. In the event of a sewage/water disruption where the home cannot be occupied - I am covered up to $5000.00 for housing costs. I am renting through a very reputable property management company and due to a pipe burst I was told I have to vacant the house and must find somewhere else to live. The property management company turned over all the information and confirmed what happened. 8 weeks later I still can't get ahold of anyone at the insurance company. The first 4 weeks they said they would have a decision by the end of the week on the claim status. 8 weeks later completely ghosted. This is essentially a third world scam where they collect funds but don't pay out. I will file in small claims court even though it's a huge waste of time just on principle to not let companies operate like this. Stay tuned - I will post when I win as confirmation this is a scammy outfit. See last correspondence from the adjuster - over a month ago. ***** Update within 24 hours of posting - claim was approved. Still waiting for them to review the expenses......
