Buying was simple. I never needed a claim. Cancellation was 'easy' but fricking expensive. I cancelled within 14 days of the renewal since I split up from the rest of the household and they were incredibly inflexible. If I could give 0 stars I would, no insurer is totally empathetic but they changed their minds on me during our chat about whether it would be free to remove a co-applicant (yes, at first) or not (no, once I confirmed that's what I wanted to do). STAY AWAY.

Applied for Apollo insurance earlier in December had no problem getting a policy, then moved to British Columbia Kim Boucher. My adjuster was excellent. She was very helpful. She answered all my questions. She was engaging. She wanted to make sure that the policy was right for me because I had listed such a high content amount she was concerned that I had more insurance than I needed. She also managed to waive my cancellation fee when I switched to from Ontario to Vancouver and refunded almost all my money, just the prorated amount of the days that I used the policy which I thought was above and beyond and excellent. I will definitely recommend Apollo to everybody.

Kim and Jessica were great at answering all my questions. They responded promptly and professionally. Apollo offers great rates for tenant insurance, as well. Recommended!
